About us

Charlotte County Cancer Society Inc. (est. 1958)is an independent local organization. All money collected is used for the benefit of Charlotte County residents who are in need of help as they are fighting and living with the effects of cancer. Many have been helped over the last 50+ years with their unplanned costs of drugs, dressings/ostomy supplies, prosthetics, and transportation. During the last fiscal year, which ended February 28, 2009, 94% of all the funds disbursed went directly to people in Charlotte County.

The source of funding has traditionally been through the sale of memorial cards and donations but now many local citizens have joined us and are initiating all types of fund-raising activities for Charlotte County Cancer.
